• Africa • Asia • Europe • Latin America • Mexico • Middle East • Oceania North America     Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is the sole distributor in both the United States and Canada of: Fender electric guitars & basses; Fender amplifiers; Fender acoustic guitars; Fender Pro Audio; Fender Strings, Parts & Accessories; Squier electric guitars, basses and amplifiers; Guild electric and acoustic guitars; DeArmond electric guitars and basses; Sunn amplifiers; and Rodriguez classical acoustic guitars. From its warehouse in Corona, California, Fender ships directly to the over 1,500 musical instrument retail outlets located throughout both countries, including those in Alaska and Hawaii. As part of Fender’s commitment to complete customer satisfaction, all of the product lines distributed domestically by FMIC must first come to Fender’s California warehouse. Here, they are subject to a stringent inspection and hands-on quality control process before they are approved for shipment. Guitars and amplifiers are inspected by one of Fender’s staff of Tuner/Testers to ensure that they are properly set up, and will be in tune and playable when a retailer takes it out of the box. After initial inspection, all instruments are inventoried with a state-of-the-art bar code system. In the warehouse, the bar code allows a computer-operated fork lift to efficiently locate and retrieve any given product in a matter of seconds. The bar code also contains vital electronic product and tracking data, including model and serial numbers, pricing information, date shipped and date received - all to help better serve the individual dealer by providing them with an organized and instantly accessible inventory. Before products leave the warehouse, they are again subject to an intensive inspection process. When the order has been placed and is ready to be sent, Fender Distribution offers its retailers a variety of shipping methods and courier options. Generally, we are able to ship high quality, playable instruments from warehouse to retail outlets in the United States and Canada within 3-4 business days!
