The Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, episode of new hit TV series 90210 features special guests Carolina Liar sporting a couple special guests of their own—Squier Classic Vibe series instruments.
Los Angeles-based sextet Carolina Liar appears on the show playing hit singles “Show Me What I’m Looking For” and “I’m Not Over.” For the appearance, guitarist and lead singer Chad Wolf played a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster ’50s; bassist Erik Hääger slung a cool new Squier Classic Vibe Precision Bass ’50s.
90210 premiered on the CW Television Network (“The CW”) in Sept. 2008 and is of course the offspring of the famous original Fox Broadcasting Company series, Beverly Hills, 90210, which ran from 1990 to 2000.
90210 is currently enjoying a stellar first season full of the dramas that ensue when the Wilson family moves from Kansas to California, very similar to the twisting story lines concerning the Walsh family in the original series. The new series has already been nominated for a People’s Choice Award.
Carolina Liar’s music is no stranger to television. The group’s songs have been heard on fellow CW series One Tree Hill, MTV’s The Hills and in commercials for CBS. The 90210 taping marked the band’s first guest appearance on a TV series, and Squier is delighted that they brought along their Classic Vibe series instruments!
