We’ve expanded our Vintage Modified Series of guitars with the introduction of the new Jagmaster™ II, Squier ’51 and Tele® Custom II guitars. The hugely successful Vintage Modified Series comprises guitars that feature modern twists on classic designs, built with popular modifications. These cool instruments offer a fun spin on historical guitars, in a refreshing way geared toward today’s youthful players and fans of interesting and hard-to-find instruments of the past.
The Squier Jagmaster II has been redesigned and upgraded. The scale length on the tinted maple neck has been shortened from 25.5” to 24”; reminiscent of the Fender® Jaguar® and helping to balance out the larger body shape. This guitar features a new six-screw bridge, which replaces the previous two-point fulcrum, and the pickups have been upgraded to Duncan Designed™ humbucking pickups.
The all-new Squier ‘51 is a value-priced screamer offering classic styling and modern functionality. This guitar is a melting pot of vintage and modern, combining ‘51 P Bass cosmetics, a Stratocaster® guitar body shape and a tinted Telecaster® guitar neck. Its clean appearance belies its true nature, with tonal possibilities galore thanks to the instrument’s rotary selector and push-pull coil tap.
Based on one of the most popular Telecaster designs of all time, the Tele Custom II features two Duncan Designed™ single-coil pickups with independent volume and tone controls. The Tele Custom II has a maple neck and 22 medium jumbo frets, and is available in Black and Blonde.
